This webinar was originally accepted as a Teaching Course for ACPA's 77th Annual Meeting.

This course will be taught by a multidisciplinary panel that provides care for neonates with airway obstruction. Thecourse will discuss the pathophysiology of Pierre Robin Sequence and illustrate mandibular distraction surgery aswell as refinements in perioperative care. Furthermore, we will discuss new sleep data on normative infants that haschanged our team's appreciation of "abnormal" sleep, allowing for callibration of existing patient selection algorithmsfor mandibular distraction osteogenesis. Finally, we will detail the the advantages of computer-assisted design andmodeling (CAD-CAM) to optimize operative results.
